PvP rewards understanding your opponent and choosing when to attack or retreat. Strong positioning and coordinated decisions help you contribute across Arena, Battlefield, and Abyss encounters.
01. Learn the Mode’s RulesCheck team structure, victory conditions, and equipment rules. Do not assume that stat normalization, timers, or reward conditions from one mode apply to another. |
02. Prepare Your AbilitiesReview your escape, control, defensive, and healing options. Keep tools available to respond to opponents instead of spending every major cooldown immediately. Adjust Stigmas to your role. |
03. Enter the Abyss With a GoalChoose whether you are focusing on quests, contested objectives, or Abyss Points. Check relevant map information and event schedules. Establish a route before leaving your group to pursue a target. |
04. Protect Team PositioningStay within reach of allied support. Coordinate target changes and help teammates who become isolated. Where aerial combat is available, consider elevation and approach direction too. |
05. Plan Abyss Point PurchasesCompare an item’s PvP benefits, cost, and improvement over your current equipment. Set an upgrade order based on the content you regularly play rather than buying every available piece. |
