AION 2 Feathers and Monolith Guide: Grow Through Exploration

Collect Feathers, plan exploration routes, and develop Monoliths in AION 2. Track missing locations and turn discoveries into character progression.

AION 2 / GUIDE 06

Exploring Atreia can contribute directly to character growth. Collect Empyrean Traces, commonly called Feathers, and use them with the appropriate Monolith to develop your progression.

01. Identify the Trace’s Region

Check which region your collected trace belongs to. Monolith progression is linked to the corresponding trace type, so confirm the destination before traveling.

02. Explore One Area at a Time

Use the available exploration filters and group nearby locations into a route. Collect easy-to-reach traces while questing, then return separately for difficult or distant objectives.

03. Check Above and Below

A marker may lead to a platform, cave, or passage at a different elevation. If you cannot see the collectible, inspect the terrain rather than repeatedly circling the same spot. Use flight and gliding where available.

04. Progress the Monolith

Visit the corresponding Monolith and inspect its resonance interface. Check the next stage’s requirements and rewards. Available benefits, including amulet-related materials, depend on the Monolith and version.

05. Keep a Completion Record

Track collected locations through the map or a checklist. Review missing points before leaving an area. When using an external map, confirm that its regions and markers match your game version.

A Common Mistake

Collecting traces without returning to the Monolith leaves the progression process unfinished. Make checking resonance part of your exploration routine.

EU / KR — Regional Note

(Korea’s Chapter 1 added Monolith content in Eltnen and Morheim. EU/Global regions, collection totals, and rewards may differ; check your own version’s progression screen.)
