Equipment is only one part of character strength. Investing in the right abilities and using them at the right moment can separate two players with similar gear.
01. Prioritize Your Core AbilitiesIdentify the damage, healing, or defensive abilities you use most. Start with reliable contributors to your main role rather than spreading growth resources evenly across every skill. |
02. Choose Specializations DeliberatelyA specialization can change range, target count, or how an ability works. Understand what each choice adds to your combat plan instead of copying a marked box without context. |
03. Review Mastery AllocationCheck which weapon receives experience in the Weapon Mastery interface. Choose nodes for your main role and evaluate how investing in an unused weapon would help your current setup. |
04. Judge Skill Cores by Their FunctionRead the affected ability, activation condition, and interaction with your combo before choosing a Skill Core. Rarity matters less than whether it improves something you actually use. |
05. Test One Change at a TimeTest against the same target for comparable durations. Track mana management, wasted abilities, and performance while moving alongside damage; avoid changing every setting at once. |
Include Defense in Your PlanA powerful attack sequence does little if you keep dying. Keep defense within easy reach and know which attack you can interrupt when a boss warning appears. |
