PoE 1 Start a New League with a Plan

You do not need to do everything at league start. A functional build, a reliable mapping route and a meaningful upgrade are strong first goals.

01. Choose Your Mode

Choose trade, SSF or Hardcore according to your time and preferred progression. Adapt your starter plan to that choice.

02. Start with Small Milestones

Target a campaign segment, an equipment gap or an Atlas bonus in each session. Achievable milestones make progress easier to see.

03. Learn League Content Gradually

Begin new mechanics with low-investment attempts. Learn the reward structure before committing valuable resources to a large project.

04. Choose Challenge Goals

Review the challenge list and mark objectives that overlap with your regular play. Estimate the cost of a target before committing.

05. Review Your Plan

Update your goals when build changes or prices affect your route. You do not have to follow your initial strategy indefinitely.

Practical Tip

End each session by writing the next target: which activity, which upgrade and what budget?

Important Note

(In 3.29 Curse of the Allflame, Charts lead to seafloor exploration and connected Voyages. Do not assume this league mechanic is permanent Standard content.)
