WOW TBC CLASSIC / GUIDE 01
Prepare before stepping beyond the Dark Portal. A good leveling plan builds more than experience: it helps you reach 70 with useful gear, reputation and gold.
01. Build Good Habits EarlyFrom 1–58, follow suitable quest hubs for your faction. Combine nearby objectives and handle training, repairs and selling during the same town visit. Avoid repeatedly buying expensive gear just for its rarity. |
02. Arrive in Outland PreparedYou can enter Hellfire Peninsula from level 58. Begin around Honor Hold as Alliance or Thrallmar as Horde. If combat feels difficult, gaining another level or improving weak equipment slots is reasonable. |
03. Follow a Flexible Zone RouteAfter Hellfire, consider Zangarmarsh, Terokkar and Nagrand. For later levels, review Blade’s Edge, Netherstorm or Shadowmoon. Follow suitable quest levels and prerequisites rather than insisting on clearing every zone. |
04. Combine Dungeon ObjectivesWith a reliable group, combine dungeon quests and relevant reputation gains. Include group formation and travel time in your decision; repeated dungeon runs are not automatically the fastest option for everyone. |
05. Prepare for Life at 70Learn new ability ranks, compare useful quest rewards and save toward flying. As you approach 70, choose your next goal: Heroic access, an equipment upgrade or your first raid group. |
Practical TipGive each session one main goal: a quest hub or a planned dungeon run. Focus on finishing objectives instead of repeatedly changing your route. |
Version Note(This guide covers TBC Classic Anniversary and its level cap of 70. The zone order is a flexible recommendation, not a route based on Era, Retail or private-server leveling rates.) |
