WORLD OF WARCRAFT: FOREVER / GUIDE 04
Good combat is more than pressing every available button. Target selection and timing can matter as much as your equipment.
01. Give Your Talents a GoalChoose the problem you want to solve for solo questing or your group role. Read talent descriptions before combining pieces from unrelated builds. |
02. Check the Area Before PullingLook for nearby enemies and a safe retreat. Running into another pack can turn a small mistake into a difficult fight. |
03. Keep Control Tools AccessiblePlace interrupts and control abilities on comfortable keys. Coordinate their use so the group does not waste every tool on the same target. |
04. Test Sustained Resource UseA strong short burst may not last through a long encounter. Decide which abilities take priority when resources become limited. |
05. Support Your Group’s PlanFollow the tank’s target, avoid dangerous ground and communicate early. Damage numbers alone do not measure whether you helped finish safely. |
Practical TipAfter a death, look beyond the final hit. Identify the pull, missed control or positioning mistake that started the problem. |
Beta and Version Note(Talent and item changes mean old Classic rotations need rechecking. State the tested version when recommending a specific talent setup.) |
