WOW CLASSIC ERA / GUIDE 04
A successful dungeon run starts before the first pull. Simple preparation and clear communication reduce delays and help new players settle into the group.
01. Make Your Group Listing ClearUse Group Finder and suitable chat channels to state the dungeon, your role and your goal. Mention if it is your first visit and seek players willing to allow learning time. |
02. Prepare Quests and the RouteCheck relevant quests in advance and confirm the meeting point and intended wing. In places such as Dire Maul, ask which section the group plans to run. |
03. Agree on Loot Before StartingAgree on main-role, off-role and reserved-item rules before the run. Do not wait for a valuable drop to start the discussion. Ask before rolling if an item’s use is unclear. |
04. Keep Pulls Under ControlFollow the tank’s target, watch patrols and avoid breaking crowd control. Retreat carefully without pulling extra enemies. Check that your healer is ready before engaging the next pack. |
05. Arrive Prepared and Keep LearningBring repaired gear, food, drink and class supplies. Ask for a brief explanation of unfamiliar bosses. After a failed attempt, agree on one practical change for the next pull. |
Practical TipIntroduce your role, experience and quest goal in one message. A clear introduction prevents avoidable misunderstandings later. |
Version Note(Classic Era has Group Finder; this guide does not assume automatic dungeon teleportation. Plan travel and any access-key requirements with your group.) |
