Throne and Liberty Lucent Guide: Calculate Value Before You Sell

Understand Sealing, trade eligibility, and market costs so you can spend Lucent with a clear purpose.

THRONE AND LIBERTY / GUIDE 07

Managing Lucent is about more than finding an expensive item. Trade eligibility, preparation costs, and actual buyer demand determine what that item is worth to you.

01. Separate Lucent from Sollant

Auction House transactions use Lucent. Budget Sollant and crafting materials separately; resources used to prepare an item for sale still carry a cost.

02. Check the Seal Status

Check the current Seal system when trading equipment. Sealed gear must be unsealed to equip it, which changes its trade status; review eligibility and costs before resealing.

03. Compare Truly Similar Listings

Matching the name is not enough: compare Item Level, growth cap, and Potential Ability. A differently configured item's asking price is not a guaranteed valuation of yours.

04. Calculate the Net Return

Check the displayed transaction deduction and preparation costs. Focus on what remains after the sale rather than the headline listing price, and do not count an unsold listing as earned Lucent.

05. Shop with One Clear Goal

Decide which problem in your build you want to solve. Buying for a weak slot or useful skill interaction is easier to manage than collecting items merely because they look rare.

Sell, Use, or Dissolve

Compare all three options before removing an item. A piece that does not fit your build may have valuable trade properties, while an unattractive listing can waste preparation resources.

Global / EU – KR Note

(This guide uses Global/EU trading after Nix. Old trait-extract and lithograph sale recipes are not the current route, and Korean listing prices do not establish EU market value.)
