WOW TBC CLASSIC / GUIDE 05
At a fresh level 70, you do not need to complete an entire BiS list immediately. Address your role’s biggest weaknesses and build a practical set for the raid you intend to join.
01. Define Your Role and BuildDo not judge tank, healer and damage gear by one standard. Use an appropriate TBC Anniversary reference and evaluate hit, defenses or resources against your talents and group setup. One universal stat target does not fit every role. |
02. Start with Your Weakest SlotsChoose three weak slots and find an accessible alternative for each. Distinguish a meaningful weapon or trinket upgrade from a minor sidegrade. One rare drop should not stall your entire character. |
03. Compare Several Reward SourcesReview level-70 quests, reputation vendors, Normal and Heroic dungeons, and crafted options together. Judge an item by its useful role stats rather than rarity or item level alone. |
04. Finish the Item with Gems and EnchantsBudget for suitable gems and enchants on lasting pieces. If you use a meta gem, check its activation requirements. More affordable enhancements can make sense on items you expect to replace soon. |
05. Plan Your Badge PurchasesCompare your Badge of Justice balance with current vendor options. Check the cost of a larger upgrade before spending on a small improvement. Ask your guild what preparation it expects for your first raid. |
Practical TipRecord each target, its alternative and its cost or dungeon source. This makes both farming time and gold spending easier to manage. |
Version Note(This is a starting framework, not a claim that Phase 1 BiS stays unchanged throughout Anniversary. Update alternatives as your phase unlocks additional loot and vendor options.) |
