DIABLO IV / GUIDE 08
You do not need to play every activity in sequence. Choose the improvement that matters next, then build a route that supports it.
01. Choose the Next GainSet a specific goal such as Glyph progression, equipment or crafting materials. Avoid extending the route for rewards you do not currently need. |
02. Evaluate Content by Time and DifficultyHelltides, Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, Pit and boss runs place different demands on a build. Learn where your character performs well. |
03. Unlock War PlansAfter completing the Lord of Hatred campaign, follow the system unlock at the command table in Temis. Do not expect every option before meeting its access conditions. |
04. Combine Activities with a PurposeSelect content you can finish reliably that rewards what you need. Reassess completion time and failures after adding a new modifier. |
05. Separate Farming from PushingMaintain a dependable resource route. Test higher tiers separately instead of committing the whole budget to progression attempts. |
Practical TipAt the end of a route, ask whether it brought you closer to the next upgrade. If not, change the reward target. |
Season and Expansion Note(War Plans requires Lord of Hatred. Without it, use the same goal-based approach for the base-game endgame activities available to you.) |
