AION 2 / GUIDE 03
Smart equipment choices help you prepare for tougher encounters without exhausting your resources. Plan your upgrades around your role, current weaknesses, and next equipment target.
01. Compare More Than Item LevelReview base attributes, additional bonuses, and intended use. Damage dealers should consider offensive performance, while tanks and support players should also evaluate survivability and role-specific benefits. |
02. Set Your Upgrade PrioritiesImproving your weapon can help damage-focused classes defeat enemies faster. If you frequently die, address defensive weaknesses too. Consider how soon you will replace a piece before investing heavily. |
03. Review Enhancement CostsBasic enhancement consumes Enhancement Stones and Kinah. Check success chances, material requirements, and failure outcomes before confirming. Set a spending limit for expensive attempts. |
04. Improve Stones and Bonus AttributesUse compatible equipment stones to support your build. Soul Imprint/Soul Binding provides another way to shape additional attributes. Favor useful options rather than chasing perfect rolls on temporary gear. |
05. Check Transfers Before DismantlingInheritance or transfer may preserve part of your investment when moving to eligible equipment. Inspect the preview to see what carries over, which item is consumed, and what the operation costs. |
A Common MistakeRecovering Enhancement Stones does not mean recovering everything you spent. Kinah and other resources may not be fully returned through Extraction. |
EU / KR — Regional Note(Korean/Taiwanese guides describe guaranteed normal equipment enhancement through +10. Do not apply this to every item category. For EU/Global, verify success rates, transfer rules, and recovery amounts in your client.) |
