Aion 2 Launch Scale Test: What the September Test Was For

NC's September Launch Scale Test was a pre-release infrastructure check, not a replacement for the October global launch.

Before Aion 2's October 5 global release, NC scheduled a Launch Scale Test in September. The stated purpose was to test server and infrastructure stability in an environment close to the live service while giving players an early look at the game.

What a scale test can and cannot prove

A busy test can reveal connection and matchmaking problems that a small private session misses. It can also give you a feel for movement, combat and your first class. It cannot guarantee that every launch-day queue, region or economy condition will be identical. Treat any currency price or farming estimate from the test as provisional.

If you played, keep notes on practical questions: which controls felt awkward, which class held your attention, and which onboarding step was unclear? Those observations remain useful even if the launch client changes. For exact current dates and eligibility, consult NC's official global information page.
