WOW MOP CLASSIC / GUIDE 09
Improving at PvP means more than dealing extra damage. Tracking crowd control, defending at the right moment, and creating space for a teammate can change a match.
01. Build Your Gear FoundationReview Honor and Conquest vendors for your main specialization. Consider PvP attributes and set bonuses instead of assuming a higher PvE item level always makes an item better. |
02. Use Honor to Fill GapsContribute to battleground objectives while identifying weak slots. Spend Honor on the pieces you need most instead of making unrelated purchases. |
03. Plan Your Conquest SpendingCheck your current earning cap and vendor requirements in game. Compare options before a major purchase; weapon, set bonus, and weak-slot priorities depend on your specialization. |
04. Agree on a Simple Team PlanAgree on the opening target, crowd-control timing, and a signal to retreat. Avoid spending every offensive and defensive cooldown at the same time. |
05. Take One Lesson from Each MatchDo not blame every loss on gear. Pick one fixable issue, such as a late defensive, poor positioning, or an unannounced target switch, and focus on it next match. |
Control Before PressureLook for a useful opening rather than spending all your damage into an active defensive. While applying pressure, track your healer's line of sight and your teammate's position. |
