An item's value is not determined by its color or one impressive number. Progress while keeping the properties your role needs, and your resources will go further.
01. Move Beyond the Old Upgrade RouteEquipment progression after Nix uses Item Levels and Inheritance. Do not apply an old Growthstone and Transfer sequence to current gear; start with the item's live description. |
02. Read the Item's Growth LimitCheck the slot you need and the item's maximum Item Level. Update 4.12.0 raised the cap for eligible equipment to 90; that is not character level, and older rewards do not all share the same limit. |
03. Inspect the Inheritance PreviewCheck the target, source, stone cost, and resulting Potential Ability. Do not confirm until you accept losing the source piece and have verified the resulting properties in the preview. |
04. Budget for Traits SeparatelyCheck the type, compatibility, and cost of stones used to unlock and improve traits. Prioritize pieces your main build will keep rather than spending every stone on temporary equipment. |
05. Compare the Complete BuildCompare set effects, defense, runes, and skill interactions when changing gear. A higher Combat Power number alone does not guarantee better boss performance or stronger PvP survival. |
Pause Before ConfirmingLock valuable pieces and review automatic dissolution settings. Losing an item you could use or sell is not worth a slightly faster inventory cleanup. |
