LOST ARK / GUIDE 02
Comfort with a class matters as much as its strength. Look beyond a short tier list and consider movement demands, skill rhythm and your responsibilities in raids.
01. Decide on Your RoleDPS play rewards safe damage uptime, while supports focus on buffs, protection and team positioning. Do not choose solely because you expect faster party acceptance. |
02. Test the Combat RhythmCompare burst-oriented and sustained-damage playstyles. Notice whether long animations, identity management or frequent inputs feel awkward before investing heavily. |
03. Understand Positioning RequirementsIf your build relies on back or front attacks for certain skills, understand how this affects combat. Do not assume every class needs to land every attack from behind. |
04. Create a Current PresetAlign skills, runes, engravings and Ark Passive choices around the same playstyle. A build missing a key component will not perform like its completed version. |
05. Test in Real EncountersObserve time spent unable to attack and missed buff windows. Fix one gameplay habit first, then evaluate what a more expensive upgrade would add. |
Practical TipPrioritise consistency in your first build. A cycle you can execute reliably is a stronger starting point than one that works only under perfect conditions. |
Version and Regional Note(Check the patch date when choosing an EU/NA build. Before using a Korean setup, verify that its class changes and Ark Grid effects are available in your version.) |
