WOW RETAIL / GUIDE 10
Playing an alt does not mean rebuilding your entire plan from scratch. Understand shared systems and give each character a purpose to make management easier.
01. Give Each Character a PurposeChoose your main for progression and alts for roles or professions you want to explore. Avoid expanding your routine by trying to gear every character equally at once. |
02. Organise the Warband BankGroup shareable materials and future-use items clearly in the shared bank. A quick stock check helps prevent buying the same materials twice. |
03. Read the Binding TypeDo not equip a Warbound until Equipped item before deciding which character should use it. Do not assume every soulbound item can move through the shared bank. |
04. Check Shared ProgressLook for Warband-sharing indicators on reputation and quests. A shared system does not mean every legacy progression track or character reward is automatically shared. |
05. Set Limits for Your Alt RoutineSet one or two weekly goals per alt. Check gear and content access per character, then keep the schedule small enough to support your main objective. |
Practical TipUse similar keys for interrupts, defensives and movement across characters to reduce adjustment time when switching. |
Important Note(Warband sharing depends on the item and system rules. Warbound until Equipped items become soulbound when equipped; check the label before transferring or using them.) |
