WORLD OF WARCRAFT: FOREVER / GUIDE 05
An item is valuable when it improves something your character needs. Choosing by rarity alone can lead to unnecessary spending.
01. Identify Your Main WeaknessFrequent deaths, resource problems and slow kills require different solutions. Decide what you want an upgrade to improve before shopping. |
02. Compare Items for Your RoleRead the complete item description rather than focusing on one large number. A stat unrelated to your abilities may contribute little. |
03. Test Changes ConsistentlyCompare fight length and survivability against similar enemies. Changing several pieces together makes individual improvements harder to judge. |
04. Consider Other SourcesCheck quests, crafting and group content before buying. Avoid committing your entire budget to a piece you expect to replace soon. |
05. Check Equipment Lists CarefullyWhich role, activity and version does a list cover? Do not treat one ranking as a permanent answer for every stage of play. |
Practical TipSet a budget for your next upgrade and compare it directly with your current item. Save for a larger weakness if the difference is minor. |
Beta and Version Note(Forever revises item properties and rewards. During beta, use verified item descriptions instead of presenting a final launch best-in-slot list.) |
