AION 2 PvE Guide: Choose Your Challenge, Prepare for the Next

Plan your AION 2 PvE progression through solo challenges and group dungeons. Choose useful rewards, manage eligibility, and prepare for boss fights.

AION 2 / GUIDE 08

AION 2 offers solo challenges, group dungeons, and coordinated boss encounters. Choose content around your next upgrade to make steady progress with the time you have.

01. Start With Your Reward Goal

Compare activity rewards before entering. Expeditions support equipment progression, while Transcendence contributes to Arcana development. Identify your current need instead of choosing a dungeon only for its difficulty.

02. Practice Through Solo Challenges

Nightmare and Ascension Trial let you work on attack recognition, dodging, and skill timing. Learn mechanics that repeatedly defeat you. If survival is comfortable but progress stalls, review your damage and build.

03. Agree on Group Roles

Clarify tanking, healing, support, and damage responsibilities. Tell your group if an encounter is unfamiliar. Coordinated activities such as Sanctuary benefit from a shared plan and clear communication.

04. Check Reward Eligibility

Entry access and reward claims may follow different rules. Review energy requirements, remaining claims, and reset information before committing to repeated runs.

05. Build a Sustainable Routine

Arrange group-dependent objectives before their deadlines. Choose difficulties your team can complete consistently and leave time to use the rewards you earn on character upgrades.

A Common Mistake

Meeting the minimum item level does not automatically prepare you for every mechanic. Review the encounter and understand your role before the first pull.

EU / KR — Regional Note

(Korea’s Chapter 1 expanded Expedition and Transcendence parties to five players and Sanctuary to ten while changing entry and reward systems. For EU/Global, confirm the current rules in the activity panel.)
